The one caveat here is that you’re limited in the type of towing vehicle you’ll need. A truck bed with sufficient space to install the anchor is needed. Your truck must also be very powerful in order to handle the higher weight of the fifth wheel behind it. So if you don’t already have such a truck and aren’t ready to buy one, a fifth wheel might not be the right option for you. But if you’ve already got the truck, then it’s very likely that its manufacturer has a specially designed fifth wheel coupling that you can have installed!
